  • Once upon a time a tiny mouse who lived in a Turkish steelworker's flat in a dingy suburb of Istanbul, decided to leave home. He packed a tiny trunk with peanut butter and caught

  • All the times he'd risen to the top or scuffed along the edges. He finally admitted he couldn't let the picture go. The move to Antarctica was difficult but science needed him.

  • Antartica wasn't so bad, at first. He took the picture and hung it on the side of his igloo so he could gaze at it when he needed the strength for another science project.

What happened to the picture of Virginia Woolf? Is it still there on the side of his igloo? Are the penguins afraid of Virginia Woolf?

My fold was inspired by a Turkish arthouse film I tried to watch about some people living in a flat which then had a mouse. That's about it for plot. It was so boring I wondered why the mouse didn't move out. So I fixed that with this story.

It is nice to know that your fold was inspired but what of you lucielucie, were you inspired?

Well, the answer is 'probably not' - if I'm answering the question that I think I'm answering.

Well, you were inspired to write a fold, and then there was a domino effect from a very little mouse, so that's something, isn't it?

You're right SW! It was worth watching a third of that film after all :)

Aren't you worried you missed the best part?

Well, in a word, no. But I think it's called Uzak if anyone wants to watch it & find out what happened to the mouse.
