A small duck waded into the pod as the sun

  • A small duck waded into the pod as the sun rose and the streets started to fill up with people on their way to work.

  • The duck swam for hours before realizing that it was in a pool full of children. The small duck, who went by Zoey, started to panic. She waddled in the water then started to drown.

  • As she was drowning she felt something being pushed into her face, it was poop.

    3
  • She had a fear of poop, she screamed louder. Her oxygen was running low, being replaced by water rapidly.

    4
  • Soon her screams were reduced to a dreadful gargling sound. Luckily, these were heard by Martin Lukewarm, who dreamed of finding a girl who gargled enough to be kissed without

TarotGuy...you are f__king funnier than hell. My side explodes with laughter when I read your skillfully written prose. I would doff my hat to you, but then I would have to reveal my knotty-pated foreskin.

And, Woab. Quite honestly, whenever I read something that is a little stiff and uninteresting after the first 2 or 3 Folds, you light up the page with humor and literary aplomb. After that the piece finds direction and drama. Thank you for your contributions.

Jimbeau…I consider your praise to be coming from a master, and I humbly thank you. I thought for weeks about a suitable ending for this story, and suddenly this evening an ending just popped into my mind out of nowhere. Although I have to say the gorgeous Ms. Holmes DID provide some inspiration! And Woab…I echo Jimbeau’s assessment. You can always be counted on for creativity, humor, and your incredible intuition for the essence of what “story” is all about. I thank you as well!

I like to call Katie my homegirl. Funny thing though, she is sandwiching my day today. The first thing I saw online this morning was Katie on Reddit. As I am going to bed after this, this mention of her will be the last thing I'll see online tonight. She really is The Gift. I'm just saying.

Kind words coming from you talented folks make me smile! It is so cool to come here and see your avatars lurking merrily about, causing creative mischief. I always look forward to building a story with you.

Lest y'all feel a bit sheepish from too much reciprocal backslapping, I'll add my voice to say it's a pleasure to write creatively with y'all, and that you provide laugh medicine in reliable doses.
