His suspicions played out when Reegon the Embarrassed reached into his bulging pocket & pulled out a handful of jagged metadots & threw them into the roiling cauldron of embryonic

Folds. Within the boiling mass of viscous narrative an infinity of Folders folded Folds folding Folders Folding Folded Folds folding Folding Folds. And the metadots'd barely kicked

a dent in the ever-increasing complexity of folds, folded folds, folders, foldees, foldations, foldological foldifications, foldoramas, foldinations, foldings, and antifolds.

Some three years after the Antifold exhibition at the Museum of Unusual Objects, next door to Hell, the foldeesstill folded lines. There was no lack of inspiration for stories.

Some in the top folds were rumored to have worshiped at Antifold masses where the officiant the demonic formula for things that didn't exist in this astral plane. Genesplicing.

But the bottom folders were the real heroes, as they tried valiantly to wrap what nonsense they faced into some sort of cohesive conclusion. These were the martyrs of the cause.

As we all know, the martyrs are the true heroes of any story. They make the good guys live happily ever after. Don't they?
