For many college students, the holiday season is the time to trek home to visit the family, reap loads of gifts and spend time away from that special

someone who would never, ever suspect they were home pretending, for at least two weeks, that leaving their high school girlfriend was a huge mistake. Valentines day admissions

to the strip club was always a balm for the wound. He waited until the room was humming with fake eroticism and addiction, then he let a 1000 round pack of firecrackers and

then ............. nothing happened. Had he lit the fuse? Were the firecrackers duds? Was it the........... Bill was dead. ......Now how are we going to light the damn TNT?

Suddenly, an infant crawled into sight, carrying blue tip matches. "Come on baby, light my fire! Try to set the night on fire!" The child obliged, by touching a match to the fuse.

I watched as the fused sparkled like one of those 4th of July sparklers I use to play with when I was a kid. But the outcome of this sparkler was different. It wasn't just pretty

it was magic! As I waved it above my head there was a sudden puff of smoke, a pink light and a genie appeared in a lime green wetsuit. What is your wish he

asked. I told him that my wish is to see the greatest place on earth, which in my opinion

is a lttle spot along the river in a remote corner of Southern Oregon, but I'm not about to share the loction of that fishing hole with anyone, so Instead I said

'Go to somewhere else. This is my spot. Maybe you can go to Borneo Island in Indonesia. They have a lot of fishing hole spot!' then I sit to my little chair and continue fishing.
