  • In his dream, Matty had to choose between 3 boxes. The first box was green with the symbol of pi on it. The second was smaller, but was glowing with an unseen light. The third

  • one was black and sprouted shaggy hair like a rastafarian. Since this third one also smelled of ganja, Matty opened this one. Inside he found a picture of a pipe.

    7
  • But the picture of the pipe had a caption under it which said, "This is not a pipe." He was paralyzed by confusion. He thought, "What the??????" He stared at the picture for

    9
  • so long that when he looked for a clock, it had melted and now drooped over a branch. He turned and left, following a man with a green apple. At the door,

    7
  • Mark Rothko looked down at the canvas in his hands, realizing Dali had a point. Of course, he was technically a modern artist, and modern people are lazy.

    6
  • Rothko decided the most modern-artsy thing he could do would be to leave the canvas exactly as it was, and then sell it. The other artists were aghast! What, they argued, would he

    6
  • expect to fetch for a white canvas? Well, to their horror some idiot french art "critique" bought it for 10m Euros. Rothko could now buy the canvas factory and sell it as "art"

Now there's an idea. "Art game show". Stayed on theme to the end. Very nice.

I've always had a general dislike for the modern art scene.

Doh... you're post-modern. Even worse than modern. :-) Anyway, the spectrum is huge, you don't have to like everything or even 10%. But some things are very cool.
