Who do I have to tie up and lock in a closet to get on the Leaderboard?

Hey, this isn't Folding Story of O. Just submit good material over a lengthy time period & all will be well.

If things worked like I proposed after some number of likes (1000?) they would turn over like the odometer on an old car and you'd drop off the leaderboard making room for the shinny young folders, not unlike a circular track for horses.... but that's just me heresy. So giddyup horsies. Or keep it philisophical like Chaz, our yodalike Guru who can turn any measly "hgjhghjgjgjhgnbnb" fold into a great story.

I also like the idea of giving the newer folders more of a chance to shine. Maybe add a timewise-traveling "in the past year" leaderboard? Also maybe a folding-stories tab for stories with a high relative newbie ratio so those who wish can help to involve newcomers faster?

By the way Qtip, I wasn't disparaging your fold. On the contrary! It shows just the positive spirit to work with whatever the the previous fold gives you, which I so admire in Chaz' folds - jumpstarting a great story.

Nice ideas, BlastedHeath. A Newbie Leaderboard? I was so happy to get to 1,000 but knew I would always be thousands behind some of the earlier folders.
