Eventually everyone was bickering straight into a paradox of whining. How much longer could my ears take this abuse? I must

lower down their volume. I stood up and jumped 5 times. Waving my hands in the air. Like I just don't care. Everyone stared at me as i reached for my

hat. This red hat had a duck in it. This was a very special duck. The duck's Name was Herald and he could speak. As I pulled him out of my hat

he said "QUACK QUACK" & he told me that he wanted some chili so we went to the grocery store & I got all the ingredients to make chili & cornbread!

Duck was enjoying the chili and cornbread he quacked at me if i reached for some he always moody when it comes to food but he is still my best friend.

Unfortunately, I'd find out soon enough that the feeling wasn't mutual. In fact, it turns out Duck had another best friend, a chicken from the other side of the tracks who went by

Chik'En. I cried about it at first, but then I decided to earn back Duck's friendship. There was only one way to do that--I had to kill Chik'En. I asked him to cross the road, but

he saw my plow from a mile away. With a small grin he nodded, seeming to except his fate. As a truck barreled toward him, he pulled me in the road as well. He doomed us both.
