"You talk to much and you never shut up"..

  • "You talk to much and you never shut up".. "You talk to much and you never shut up". People started giving him the eye in the bus. He fished for his phone. Why was his wife calling
  • the man next to him? His doppelganger said, "No problem hon, I'll pickup the milk." and hungup. His spitting image smiled at him, "Take the rest of the day off, I'm taking over."
  • The mystical duplicate obediently laid down and went to sleep. "Visiting that witch-doctor was the best decision I ever made," the man said to himself, grinning. He climbed into
  • bed beside his doppelganger and they slid naturally into warm, spooning embrace. Who knew that "Go fuck yourself" was more of a blessing than a curse? He sighed contentedly and
  • kissed his doppleganger tenderly when suddenly, his wife Wendy burst into the room and grabbed him by the collar. "I knew you were up to no good!" She shrieked. She dragged him
  • behind a giant killer whale named shamu, actually it was shamu the 23rd, which is sort of like the Temptations now. The only connection the act had to the original was the
  • fact they had a fat ass orca named Shamu doing tricks. Which was pretty much how the act always was. How the Temptations ever remained popular for 23 incarnations was beyond all.
  • Orcas, the Temptations...god my brain was fried. There really was no hell like being kept in solitary confinement. The long hours made you think of
  • the golden hits of yesteryear and infomercials selling Motown classics as sung by clever sea mammals. I was lulled into pleasant dreams but woke in my lone dark cell. The guard
  • noticed me awaken, and quickly gave me another shot of that sweet substance. I began to feel myself drift off again, to a land of rainbow ferrets. I was at peace.

How in the world did two people use doppelganger twice like that?!

"Mysterious duplicate" links doppleganger fairly well enough to me. Otherwise, I think FoldingStory is secretly a government thought experiment along the lines of Nine Hours, Nine People, Nine Doors, an excellent psychological thriller interactive novel for the DS. Can't wait for its sequel.
