- So, it's time again. The moon's satellite station, sending down yet another carbon rod to the surface. Rising up above the horizon a distant flare of light shone as bright as
- a plasma trommel. Edith Vull lowered her Binocks. The moons's satellite station was so close she wondered if the tonics crew would register the signs. On this planet, signs were
- Written in Klingon, so Spock translated. The Vulcan New Year was coming soon. Their calendar spanned 13 months, but they adopted the Julian calendar in 2016. Why did it take so
- long to boil pasta at Lagrange 5? The memory struck Spock like a suckerpunch. He staggered in the corridor. He dropped the New Julian Calendar the Vulcans were adopting. Somebody's
- going to pay for this, that calendar cost me $3.99 at Target, thought Spock before he blacked out. When he awoke, he found himself in what looked like a yellow plastic hallway.
- Captain kirk appeared in a doctors smock and yellow marigolds. Spock had once had a sleepiness night discovering something called "flash fiction" and, fearing for the worst, leapt
- along his own timeline, trying to put right what once went wrong. There was too much to do. Spock could not eradicate the Kirk/Spock slash that denied Spock and Bones were together
- even though it was obvious to everyone on the bridge. Every time Bones saw Spock walk away, he couldn't help but allow is gaze to fall and admire Spock's well-defined
- ear lobes. Everyone admired Spock’s pointy ear tips, but Bones literally LUSTED for his lobes. It became so noticeable that the crew started calling Bones “Boner” behind his back,
- but Bones didn’t mind. Spock’s lobes were the real McCoy to Bones’ aural sexual fantasies, where no man had gone before.

Great wrap-up, RhettOracle! I love this story, which was 7 years in the making. Bones is my favorite Star Trek character.
