I was so tired, yet I couldn't sleep. I opened

  • I was so tired, yet I couldn't sleep. I opened my eyes slightly, and immediately froze. Across the room from me was a tall, shadowy figure, which began to slowly approach my bed.

  • My mistake? I'd run upstairs. Just like in the movies I was going to get hacked to pieces. My little switch blade wouldn't do me any good against his axe so I clung to my teddybear
  • . The mad axe-man burst in through the room. I screamed and clung on to my teddybear, hugging it as tight as I could. "Hand over the teddybear" He demanded. "NOOOoooOOO!" I wailed
  • . There was no way I'd relinquish Mr Cuddles to this axe-wielding madman. Finally, he said, "If you don't hand over the teddy, I'm going to kill your
  • hopes of seeing Mrs Potato-Head again!" "No, don't hurt her. Here, take Teddy!" I suddenly wished I'd never taken her out of the toy-chest. She was sure to be in pieces over this.
  • But that's what you get when you fall for a Lego Minifig Princess Leia (with bun hairdo). I threw Teddy at the Evil One (that's what we were calling him), and to my surprise
  • it was more effective than I had thought! The teddy bear roared and slashed at the Evil One with his fluffy claws while Leia's beautiful Minifigure and I cheered him on.
  • Just when we thought Teddy was winning though, the Evil One had a surge of power, and promptly dismembered our champion! Minifigure Leia and I had lost everything. All of it.
