  • It was my junior year in high school when the problems really started. Up until then I had been able to control my urge to mate, but when I encountered the school mascot that
  • primal instinct which made its first appearance in my 15th summer got the better of me. You see the mascot was a Platypus & I had a thing for ducks. During the traditional cheer
  • -'s episode Diane was supposed to act snobby. Dan was supposed to be horny. And Norm was supposed to be fat. But before I could show my Platypus, Cliff walked in with a loaded
  • vocabulary and completely transformed our improv theatre. What was once a relatively safe place to act a fool now became an excitingly dangerous world of words where people would
  • race through a maze of letter shaped inflatable balloons anchored to cream pies. The adrenalin rush was so intense a medical team was on site just in case people
  • 's bodies started overheating, or in case someone forgot to put out their smoke before entering. The music got worse. And louder. They didn't think
  • that the orchestra would continue after the theatre had been set on fire, but nothing could stop a performance of The Rite of Spring.
  • Stravinsky was present in person to design the settings and costumes, as well as direct the cast. He served them jello with fresh fruits for snacks. He did everything himself.
  • Stravinsky had everything under control and in its place. The cast, however, was not appreciative of him. They would torment the director every chance they had, with complaints
  • ranging from: "My makeup's the wrong color!" to: "The walls are bleeding!" He managed to put on a wonderful play- but the stress backstage led him to quit acting forever.
