  • Living on the shelf in Lindsay's closet was tough on poor little teddy bear, Button. He was so alone. Lindsay was now 16 and she didn't need teddy bears anymore. Button missed it.
  • He thought back to when Lindsay was five. Button had been a Christmas present, and he instantly became her favorite friend.
  • But, he was a hamster. And hamsters always die in the weirdest ways possible. Button was no exception.

  • She wrote historical romances under a French-sounding pen name and liked to make her problems sound worse than they were. Often, she would stay awake thinking of deserts.
