- He was a network engineer. A happy network engineer until he fell in love with Karla, an experienced veterinarian, who at the time was being harrassed by David, a sadistic novelist.
- Ah, it was a classic love triangle. Karla was an animal in bed. Both he & David knew that from firsthand experience. David wrote a book about her, while Rufus (the network engineer)
- scratched his arse. Interestingly Karla was a different animal in bed with each man. With David, she was a tortoise, hence the book. With Rufus she was a meerkat. She'd pop up on
- one side of the bed, and then the other. Then she'd pounce and go to town on him. But it was always Karla's sex-role as the preying mantis that would get her in trouble. She had to
- haw a loogie something fierce, but Karla was right in the middle of the make out session. This hunk of phlegm was lodged in the back of her throat making it hard to concentrate on
- the spot behind him. Se came closer and closer to the point where the kiss would make faint. She knew she had to get the phlegm away so that Lionel could finish his crimina cupe
- Rative treatment. The plycomytes were knocking at the door and were told to go away. One day, they snuck in. Hiding under the sofa, they could be heard laughing and speaking Dutch.
- Tam had to finally confront them about their poor grasp of the concept of hiding. One thing he brought up was their hiding in Dutch. They were not Dutch so why hide in Dutch. They
- were fond of the Dutch people. That was all. When he shouted "verstoppertje" the others covered their eyes and ran to the hills, in that order. "Watch out for that speeding bicycle
- ," shouted little Rian, who had been hiding in a nearby tulip field, but nobody listened and soon there were wooden shoes and a rainbow of petals strewn all over the road.
