... and that was just the first 2 lines. The rest of her CV read like a choir angelic exalting her myriad gifts in sanitation. Misty DuPre had other talents too. She spoke Swahili
sign language and gutted an albatross with a pen knife. Misty DuPre had a PhD in outhouses. She dumped all her passion on that subject and squated in her niche until no one
dared venture near her specific field of Outhouse-ology. Once an undergrad architcture student dared to write an amateur paper overviewing the structure of the modern outhouse and
how it could be redesigned into a much more profitable ‘In-House’ with a new paint job.
I looked at them. "You hired me to be the janitor but you actually want me to redesign that Bauhaus crap!?" They all looked around at each other, somehow agreeing to a truce. Igor
shuffled over to the water cooler, filled a polystyrene cup with room temperature water and brought it back to me with a bow. "Thanks, Igor." I turned back to the committee. "No."

aren't eye-balled as freaks & told to "go ring a bell in a clock tower somewhere."Things were going to be different. I put on my shades and beanie hat & smiled. NY, here we come!
