'Do I have the emotional heft to get off

  • 'Do I have the emotional heft to get off the bus at the next stop or shall I just stay on until the end of the route and get kicked off?' This was the kind of question that Zoe ask
  • ed the bus driver constantly. Mel, who worked the late shift, wished Zoe would stop with the questions. "Does the lines in the road lead us or do we just follow as fated?"
  • "Kid, please, just-just go sit down." Mel said, burying his head in his hands before sighing heavily and grabbing the steering wheel once again. Although he mostly ignored her
  • he finally lost it when she started jumping up and down in the seat well, pigtaIls hitting the car ceiling, asking, "are-we-there-yet?are-we-there-yet?are-we-there-yet?are-we-ther
  • e...YEESH! You get the picture, right? No one could blame him for quickly opening then closing the car sunroof so that her pigtails got caught in it. The brat dangled there,
  • bawling for him to free her, but he was resolute. She was trapped as he went and poured himself some lemonade, wondering how long it would take the neighbours to call the cops.
  • They'd report that his lemonade prices robbed them of their hard-earned money: "$1 per glass? I'll take my business to China." That crying chick trapped in his basement was thirsty
  • and water wouldn't suffice. "GIVE ME SUGAR, DANG IT!" cried the young woman, "Anything, even a small M&M would be better than the crappy bread you feed me every day!"
  • The young woman lived in a lake. The gallant knight listened to her pleas but really didn't understand her needs. He came to the lake short and watched the lady of the lake scream
  • for attention, love, & affection, as most women do. Dumfounded, the gallant but clueless knight did what most men would do when faced with a screaming woman. He turned on ESPN.
