The kimchi was superb. McDonald's was expanding its menu to include other foreign street food. The deep-fried honey ants and haggis were
all the rage until patrons figured out what that was. The pad Thai was a welcome addition, however. In a TV ad, Ronald McDonald cheered, "Try our noodles and
empty your pockets into our Cash register!" Ronald McDonald pushed a little Asian boy down the stairs in the Playland, then beat his chest and roared, "King of the
Jungle! Hear me when I roar!" Everyone cowered until suddenly from out of the restroom charged Jack Box. "Suck this Ron!" Jack screamed, smashing his oversized "head" into Ronald's
"McNuggets." Ron kicked Jack in the "box" then threw him over the counter, barely missing an impassive teen worker. Jack shoved Ron's head into a deep fryer. "Quit clowning around!
" squealed hot-n-juicy Wendy, who dabbed a trickle of special sauce from the corner of her mouth. But it was too late. Jack sprinkled Ron's deep-fried head with salt. Wendy was
super-size excited for the extra cheese. "Hold that pickle!" she encouraged Ron, as Jack malted Ron's shake. In that moment, Jack remembered: he'd forgotten his condiments.
So Jack bought Japanese food instead. He gave up his American dignity and joined Sony in the attempt to beat Microsoft. Jack lived as a dignityless man, until dignity dust appeared
