- He woke up like all the days before, still exhausted. But unlike all the days before, he was in an unknown hotel room, with a dried blood caked across his upper lip. How had
- he paid for this room? That chandelier was worth 4 stars on its own. He struggled to wipe the blood off his lip because of the boxing gloves. Hmm, maybe he was a boxer. A jump rope
- was tied around his ankles making movement difficult. The gloves were proving impossible to remove and thus the rope was going to be there for a while. He looked around and saw a
- cavernous, dimly-lit room, echoing silence. His blood rushed loudly in his ears; his breathing coming thick and fast as he pulled at the ties that tightly bound his ankles
- He managed to free himself, but even after his restraints fell to the floor, he didn't move from the corner. Crouching, gasping, straining to see. The only noise he heard was
