- Sixteen dreams later and she was getting the hang of it. Her feet left the ground and she floated up a few feet. She could see the membrane & jetted toward it, and into Jim's mind
- which was scary because Henson's mind was full of Muppets. But it was all the Muppets he had censored. Strange beasts never considered for manufacture to show kids. She
- leafed though a script for an abandoned German project for Henson, "Willy Wonka unt der Fudge Factory," a blush (and vomit) inducing hard-core adult flick that was
- originally written for children but somehow the writers lost focus and
- kept adding references to whips and leather. "Preposterous!", you say. You're probably
- laughing now, and watching the Kill Bill marathon on TNT. You know it by heart and think of the violence as "art". Maybe at the commercial, you'll check to see if you're out of
- food. If you are, you'll go take a leak, and come back to the movie, the lard and sweat in your body should keep you alive at least until they release Kill Bill 3.
- It was the ultimate torture, forcing someone to watch crappy movies. Emo women dressing as April O'Neil butchering people and grumpy organized crime. Cliches that never aged.
- That's why I proposed my "Cheery Channel" to Ted Turner. It would feature Peanuts holiday specials, Truman Capote Stories and Andrew Llyod Webber Musicals.
- Unfortunately, Ted was nonplussed. This had taken 11 months to produce. Was it worth it? I doubt it. What else has taken this long? I really want to know! Who can tell me?
