"Who's there?" John asked into the echoing

  • "Who's there?" John asked into the echoing darkness. No one answered.
  • Then John heard it again. Knock! Knock! "Who's there?" John repeated.
  • The was a sound from the other side, "It's me, Jerry."
  • She knew who it was. She recognised the raspy, high pitched voice. "Jerry," she said, "come out from the shadows and perform for me your
  • dance which shall please my eyes and soothe my soul." And Jerry came, out of the mists, and danced before her, and her restraint melted away as she watched his lank figure. And she
  • wove the mists about her, melding against Jerry to leap back, tantalizing in tease. The forest was a cavernous ballroom, gloaming with firefly light. A tattoo of unseen drums beat.
  • Her fingers wove an invisible web around Jerry, and he followed her waving hips gladly. They shimmied through the forest as an orchestra of baboons played a Samba.
  • Suddenly, she withdrew her hands,"I can't be here, not with you!" Jerry tried to pulled her back, "But my love-" She turned away, "If he were to find out, I don't know what he'd do
  • but I'm sure it would involve a lot of blood and bile. He has a special expertise with the gall bladder." Jerry didn't want to hear that. He grabbed her & spun her around. The gun
  • barrel caught her bra strap and fired, blowing her blond wig right into Jerry's mouth. As he choked on her silky locks, she lit up a cigar and turned to the sunset. She grinned.
