It was just as the parrot had foretold. On

  • It was just as the parrot had foretold. On the hour the cuckolded rooster crowed, the sky began to darken. The great ravens wing covered the sun. The barren hen laid a golden egg
  • and the crow flew over the moon. "Every 15th it's the same crap," I said as I carried my firstborn son to safety. The Vulture of Death swooped down, so I chucked the golden egg at
  • temple's door and ducked behind the safety of the only stone within miles. The Vulture of Death circled, squawking horribly, offended by the insult. Cradling my 28 year old son, I
  • cursed destiny and run for our lives. The Vulture, horribly bird-y, tried to tore away my son's head. Not that he would miss it, but his mother would be devastated. When I saw the
  • bird of prey's rugged talons wrap around my son's shoulders and widen it's beak to take a bite, I screeched and darted forward. "Chaaarrrge!" My blade struck the Vulture right in
  • her big polka dot purse. The vulture was one of those old ladies, chain-smoking, sitting on three different slot machines. My blade caused a ton of coins to pour out of her purse
  • and scatter like flashing scales on the casino floor. The old harridan's purse was loaded with quarters! "No jackpot for you, scoundrel," I heard a voice say as she pushed a gun
  • And said the quarters were stolen from the laundromat she ran. They weighed 31 pounds! You could hear her purse squawking about the room they took up until she went to the bank.
  • By then her poor purse had croaked from all the extra weight, but the bank accepted the quarters, deposited them in her account, and then charged her $3,720 for processing. She had
  • always felt disdain for tellers, measly little clerks, so pseudo-professional. So she pulled out her handgun, stole her money back, and staggered back into the night.

    Distressingly exceptional.

Oh shoot, I just flaked out (as I am wont to do) and "Unlike" Slim's opening line, which I had previously liked. I cannot undo this terrible thing. Slim, I am sorry. Consider my clothing rent. Or lease.

Interesting, i didn't know you could unlike a fold - and irreversibly so! I'm willing to rent a like in return. Just say which fold you feel undeserving of. ;-)

Too many to choose from. Maybe I'll have to look for one of yours I didn't like before and then like it. But I usually like yours.

Oh Hey! I just re-liked the one here I unliked! So we're square, again.

Um. sorry, curiosity just got the better of me and I tried unliking your fold here and it worked, but I'm unable to relike it. How did you do it?

  7. SlimWhitman Aug 13 2016 @ 17:44

Ok. never mind, after reloading a second time I was able to relike it. Maybe they have a timer so you can't like and relike rapidly.
