- Det. Manatee (ret.) tucked Herr Whitman into the valentine-shaped waterbed of the reclusive fantasy magnate's 70s throwback love-mansion. "Once upon a time in FoldingStoryLand,"
- read Manatee "a folding fairy began to peruse the long dormant stories. She wrinkled her nose over many, laughed at some, but she wept bitterly for the fine stories stopped dead by
- time," read Manatee, "clear like icicles, their clever subtext stalled and lost. 'If only someone could fold new life into these gems,' thought the folding fairy. She decided to
- leave a few strange teeth in some piggy banks that night. Folding Fairy was a fan of slow cooking, and knew it might be a while before those teeth fluorished. Forty-nine years
- from now, the molars would have set root in a new jaw, & with tender gums whisper, murmur, speak, gabble, & yammer away telling a new folding tale. Folding Fairy grabbed her tongs
- to whack the molars out of existence, I don't blame her. Who can bare such noises? Unfortunately for Folding Fairy, the tooth counsel was not satisfied with tooth removal crimes.
- For her many fanged and fangled crimes, the tooth counsel banished folding fairy to the strip mine known as the Cavity - there to toil, tooth-and-nail, every day until
- Folding Fairy had discovered a vein of precious Enamel, a rare find in the Cavity and worth millions of dimes and nickels. She thought she was traveling alone until she was
- startled by a loud noise. The ground shook. Then: "Woo hoo! We've struck gold, boys!" Folding Fairy left her Enamel sanctuary and ventured further into the cavity, where she met
- Mad Libs, her arch nemesis. Their final battle was epic, which only goes to prove that ________ (NOUN) hath no ___________ (NOUN) like a ___________ (NOUN) __________ (adjective).
