  • It was a wondrous day. The sun was shining, the birds were cawing , there was a gull picking at crab legs washed up on the shore.
  • I heard her call my name before I actually spotted her, way out to sea, but not so far that I couldn't appreciate her glistening breasts. Then I saw her tail. "Come to me," she
  • whistled, as dophin-mermaids are known to do. I was a fool, a poor fool. Another fatality; another man lured to his death by the prospect of getting to stick my dick in a blowhole
  • . She grinned at me - her teeth were sharp. That wasn't in any of the stories. "Glub, glub," she said playfully. "Come over here - let's cuttlefish." I had heard about the fish pun
  • but it didn't kraken me up. "Not bad, cod do batter." I started to flounder around and considered scaling back. Suddenly a deep voice spoke up. "Whale, whale, what do we have here?
  • I saw a burst of bubbles and looked at the Eel that was floating beside me. "Hey, it's you!" I reely couldn't remember his name! "I'm your biggest fin!" Somefin fishy was going on
  • which I attributed to having had to improvise on the oxygen supply that I was quickly running out of. The eel beside me must have seen my consternation because he wrapped himself
  • around my oxygen mask and blew bubbles into ti until I was able to return safely to the boat. "That eel saved my life," I told my mates over dinner, "but it tastes like chicken."
  • For no reason, I decided then and there to become an eelmonger. The eel sold like hot cakes. Nobody understood why eel filet took off as it did and continues to sell so robustly.
  • Not only did eels SELL like hotcakes, eel hotcakes became popular, too. Just mix ground eel with pancake batter, and imbed the head in the center of the cake before serving. Yummy!

Squid ink and corn syrup makes a lovely topping for this. Serves four.
