  • I will do it today. I will run straight through and do it, because I don't think that what I am doing with my life right now is good for me.
  • I feel the adrenaline pumping through my body, I look up, all that can be seen is the buildings that reach the sky.
  • Everything else in the city is a blur. I'm alone. The city is terrifying, and I begin to run, pushing my way through the crowds of people, hoping I can find someone. Anyone.
  • My breaths begin to come out ragged. I tighten my grip on the knife in my pocket, my one comfort. I had to find them. I continued to push my way through the crowded city.
  • The peripheries of my vision closed into a blurred circle, the area outside the edges impossibly invisible. The center subject fueled my thirst and spurred me forward.
  • I'd been playing around the rim, you know, just goofing around on the edge and now I was in a black hole.
