The thing about cats is that if one starts grooming themselves, the other cats will usually start to do the same thing.
I saw them doing it and I had to take a shower.
A cold shower. Something that would take me away from this Desert, the people here and It. Ever since I awoke here, with just the pajamas I wore to sleep, I wished I could
go back to that simpler time.. that time when my pajamas were dry.
Maybe jumping in a lake was a bad idea, but at the time it didn't seem like it. I think if Jared wouldn't of dared me, I would be by a nice warm fire. Instead
I was floundering hopelessly in ten feet of muddy green lakewater, while something distressingly organic tickled my foot. I gasped as I resurfaced, "My god,
I'm going to die." I sank under again, then the organic thing wrapped around me and pulled me to the lake shore. I saw it was a creature of rotting aquatic vegetation and slime.
For all its grossness & stench, I gave the slimy creature a hug:"You saved my life!" I now heard commotion & music; the tribesmen preparing a wedding feast. For whom? Wait...oh no!
My worst fears realized, a spearpoint wedding to a slimy monster. When the Chief said "You will now kiss the bride" I nearly fainted from the halitosis but the Wedding night
Wreckage Crew provided the bride some breath mints. I took some Tic-Tacs too and felt better. Afterwards, chicken Alfredo was served and then I reeked of garlic.
