"True passion can blind a seer's eyes & oblivion
- "True passion can blind a seer's eyes & oblivion reveals the honest of lies," Meg thought. Her head felt light and her brain lit up the night. She was high, coughing up insight.
- Meg Ryan was on a mind-melting sticky and wavy acid trip. That was her thing. The problem was she was in the middle of shooting a scene with Tom Hanks in
- Castaway. Meg Ryan was the volleyball...or at least she thought she was. Tom Hanks was talking to her, but she couldn't say her lines because every time she tried, the director
- smeared the camera lens with another blob of butter. The lighting director dimmed the lights and the sound director would play soft twinkly music to set the mood. Meg wasn't
- feeling ready but she had to be. She was a "Star" of the film, this was her chance to
- rape, pillage, rend asunder, fornicate, abdicate, save, bless, redress, caress, undress, destress, shock, awe, and fornicate. She liked fornicate. All in the name of good cinema.
- All her screenplays were generated by paging randomly in her crossword dictionary. Her 1st feature length film was generated with words ending in 'cate': masticate, defecate, urinat
- e. Her protagonist would be named "Cate". She didn't aim for depth in her screenplays, this crossword dictionary fanatic. She thought it would simply be funny to have her audience
- join in with the show. She could get information about them off their families, and maybe make personal jokes. But then again that would be creepy. She'd stick to writing a normal
- program, hiring out-of-work generic-looking local Canadians to pretend they were having American accents (which sound the same) and pretending to have "issues" for noisy crowds.
