"The Commisar's in town," someone whispered.
- "The Commisar's in town," someone whispered. Don't turn around he thought. Just keep pushing this wheel barrel full of Mighty Putty to the bus stop. If he can was it up
- to him to maintain a hold on either the past, or the present. He felt himself slipping back in time, but the Mighty Putty was sticking to the present-despite the better 80's comics
- that inspired him to go to shopping malls in search of elderly men sitting on benches, watching people going by and enjoying the air conditioning. He felt compelled to
- leave the Orange Julius for a few minutes, to stare at the makeup girls in the Nordstroms next door. Alicia worked at Prescriptives and she was the prettiest. And SWEET! She
- smelled like Obsession. Her eyes were lined in shades of aqua and lavender, her eyeshadow offset by her frosted pink lipstick. Alicia was a vision of 80s perfection. I was in love
- with Alicia, a Crayola 64 box. And, yes, she did have a very worn sharpener in the back that I put to good use. Why she smelled like Obsession though I did not figure out. Maybe
- it was the box of Chex Mix we had shared earlier. When she took out the crayon labeled "antiquity orange," we both stared at it. Nothing antique about it. It was more like
- earws. She smeared it carefully over the paper and it turned a vibran shade of turqqoise. "Now that's what I call
- a living breathing rock star of a
- man. Elvis lives!

No, I meant I got a little confused with the tense in the beginning (MoralEnd). I just thought it was funny. No offense (to either of you) meant.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what was going on with the last sentence in it, so I just kind of ran off in another direction.
