The light was dim and though she tried desperately

  • The light was dim and though she tried desperately to read the untidy hastened words on the grubby piece of paper, it was to no avail. Her eyes were straining in the dim light.
  • The candle flickered as the shadows danced across the wall, distracting her from what was at hand. A telephone somewhere started ringing, and with a crack a window smashed.
  • Then Silence. What the heck is happening? All this drama all this noise, and all I wanted to do was get to the bathroom and remove the wine I drank earlier this night.
  • I felt a weight upon me that reminded me of my carny days. In my youth my skull was like steel. There was no amount of
  • dart throwing, ping pong tossing or daring, in-motion Ferris Wheel maintenance that could pull me out of my townie-slut binging. The fragrant desperation of drunken hair-farmers
  • and sweat pant stank gave me an erection I could wrap cotton candy on . My handkerchief hung from my back pocket. Super long wallet chain. Carnival hat. Damn, where is my toothpick
  • ? Oh, that's right, I stuck it in my pocket. As I reached in I couldn't help but to bump into my lump, which did nothing to hide my tent. This routine usually led me on the road to
  • perdition and it did this time too. Next morning, I woke in bed with that tramp asleep next to me, and a demon perched on the bedpost.
  • The demon said "When are you going to quit sleeping with Mom. Last time you did I was the result, What did you two make this time?" Well it sure the hell isn't by choice she gets
  • so out control when she's around me;and he was a mistake.the biggest...but I would never tell him that!Demon or not he was my son and his daddy loves him.

From first to last a carny tale if I ever heard one.
