- e.e cummings only wrote his poetry using lowercase letters. i wonder why. maybe his poems were meant to be whispered, like a secret between me and you.
- i imagine whispering is lower case because YELLING IS UPPERCASE! sorry did i startle you? where was i? oh, e.e.cummings. not the first to use lexigraphy to distract from bad poetry
- or poor philosophy, I'm looking at you Jacque. e.e. cummings, though, has to be seen through the prism of his life and, more importantly, his times. He couldn't know the dougie nor
- could he know the twerk but he knew iambic pentameter and he could throw it away if he wanted because he knew how to use it in the first place but he DIDN'T. Your view telescopes
- it down to being a question of intent over symbol. Somehow being both, you felt, poisoned your position and you were back for a reckoning of outstanding transactions and such. You
- didn't come alone, though, did you. No, your type had to have an audience so you could spread the buffoonery, take some of the load off you shoulders. Who did you bring with you?
- All of the usual suspects were there. They served as each other's audiences; the rest of the time they spread their silly stories, with each fold sillier than the last. Pretty soon
- they had more silly folds than a Shar Pei, and had to go 'walkies'. As the folders roamed the streets looking for a decent place to squat, Santa was lowered from the sky on a rope.
- He did his business in the forest, then resumed his work. The cats buried it, like usual. Humans were strange creatures, unable to use litter boxes.
- But the cats DIDN’T know he had another catlike quality: a sandpaper tongue. This wasn’t a hit with the ladies (French kissing was out), but he was great at exfoliating their skin.
