As I picked myself up off the road I realised

  • As I picked myself up off the road I realised my vision had been reduced to that of a tunnel with a pin of white light at the end, darkness surrounded this and the world stretched
  • murkily. I looked away from the bright light and gradually the somber outlines of gravestones eked out contrast from the night sky. The castle towers light illuminated the nearest
  • forest. The tree tops bristled. The cobblestone road led to the castle's front gate. A gate of horror. Tonight it must be done. I marched on into the stoned dark evil. Death has it
  • 's advantages over life. There are terrors the living must face that make death the easy choice. I knew the evil that awaited me inside this castle was old and merciless. I grasped
  • the scary door knocker and crept inside.I knew that evil awaited me in the middle of the castle, but i continued on my way.I heard a creaking noise behind me.
  • I turned around slowly in the dark, but couldn't see what it was. I heard another creak, but this time it came from somewhere up above me. This castle was unnaturally dark.
  • The hair in my back raised up, and I slowly turned to face what I sensed behind me. There at the end of the hall was a very tall man in a black suit, seeming to have no face at all
  • He slowly walked towards me. Paralyzed with fear, all I could do was stare. He reached toward my far and
  • I pulled up. I went under the bed still with frightened eyes, and it was then he held me tight and said he had not monsters in the dark.
  • "Had not what monsters?" I asked him. My further discourse ruined the haunting mood and he clambered out from under the bread and turned the lights back on. We argued then he left.

    >Toward my far the monster said "I had not monsters in the dark"?< Some people are not destined to write a bestseller.

"I think we all agree, the past is over. This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of madmen And uncertainty And potential mental losses. Rarely is the question asked Is our children learning? Will the highways of the internet Become more few? How many hands have I shaked? They misunderestimate me. I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity. I know that the human being and the fish Can coexist. Families is where our nation finds hope Where our wings take dream. Put food on your family! Knock down the tollbooth! Vulcanize society! Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!" Supposedly a poem concocted entirely of actual quotes from George W. Bush that I was reminded of. Perhaps inaccurate, perhaps embarrassing, but I choose to find it hilarious.

"You take the UNCF model that what a waste it is to lose one's mind or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is." - Dan Quayle addressing a committee of the United Negro College Fund. How about a poem of Quaylisms to go with that? It could start: You spell potato and I spell potatoe

"P-O-T-A-T-O-E I'm Dan Quayle, Dan Quayle is me."
