- The waiter, a tired looking bespectacled Asian man, turned his head. "I don't want this stuff. I want the stuff you eat when all the white people leave." The waiter smiled and
- put up his hand to gesture "Wait". He walked back into the kitchen, checked the monkey cage, and said something in Chinese that translates roughly to
- "I think the monkey has escaped." He hung his head in shame, defeated once more by that elusive primate.
- This back and forth between him and the monkey was getting tiring. There was only one hope. One chance to turn things around.
- He had to find the toucans before it was too late. If anyone can, a toucan can - or so the saying goes. But since Penny's incident the toucans had been an elusive bunch, staying
- in the armpits of the walrus'. "Stop eating my sesame cake!!" said the landlord in a panic, It was her first time on a roller coaster and she had gotten her
- safety belt strap secure, only to realize that her pocketbook was on the cement landing. It was too late. The roller coaster took off and
- I was flung up into the air. If only I had remembered to put my seat belt on. As I plummeted to the ground I saw the only thing that could save me come into view. If I could only
- grab it with my toes. If I had listened to the lady at Jade's Hoof and Nail Emporium and gotten tips put onto my toenails the damn thing would be within my reach.
- As it was, I would have to be content waving at the thing with my medium-sized & particularly unkempt toenails. Hope no one sees me like this.
