The sun shone brightly on the blue waves
- The sun shone brightly on the blue waves of the open sea. A young child with hair of fire stood attentively at its mouth, looking for someone. On the horizon, a ship was approach

- All the dishes on tonight's menu were frankenfoods, even the mahi mahi. Suddenly, Capt. Morgan realized his mistake. He should have started cooking the mahi mahi 3 years ago to hav

Beans was my shop teacher in both 7th and 8th grades. He had an aroma. He never denied it. He used to fan it towards his face with both hands and breathe it in deeply, hold it, and let it out slowly like he had just had a reefer shotgun. We'd see flashes on his soles and we realized Beans was tripping in shop class. So we'd fuck with him. We all started whispering is name at random times. Beans. Beans. Beans... He'd stop from writing on the blackboard that seemed to be fighting him and look around the room because he could swear they were calling him.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 22:37
That turned out badly because by distracting him by whispering his name the blackboard got the upper hand and wrestled Beans to the floor where he chained him to some invisible restraints on the floor. Once Beans was properly chained the black board emerged fully to reveal that it was the Pook of Tsongas Spaces.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 22:40
Mind you, this is not what the tripping shop teacher was seeing but what we the 8th graders are seeing. We had no idea who the Pook of Tsongas Spaces was but nobody fucks with our tripping shop teacher but us!

Hollywood jumped into the fray by throwing a circular saw blade at the Pook, who deftly avoided it like an afterthought. The blade hit the wall and ricocheted right into the chest of Don Bovia. "Dammit Henderson, look out at what you are doing. You just took Bovia down with that one", I shouted at Hollywood. Clyde ran in and scooped up Bovia in a very graceful manner and took him to the Nurses Office. Lester, Rudy, and I armed ourselves with the machetes. These seemed the best weapons we had. We didn't know how this Pook fought but we were practised fighters.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 22:51
Pook saw us coming and was ready with a taunt. "You are merely children. Do not play at this game. Go back to your lessons."
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 22:53
And then he threw candy corn at us. "To appease us", Lester said.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 22:54
We weren't appeased.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 22:58
Pook somehow sensed the exact moment we all decided to act and shut us all down with a power surge punch. I was not the only one thrown to the ground. Those nearer were blinded. I was saved by being behind a great pillar.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 23:04
Even as the power surge was making it's way across the building I looked over to see Beans struggling with the invisible restraints on the floor. I didn't know if he knew that some of what he was seeing wasn't all hallucination. I could see that Felix was the closest that could do anything for Beans but Felix seemed too busy with one of Pook's henchmen; with eye gouging, nose biting, and scratching.
LordVacuity Jul 22 2017 @ 23:06
I looked around quickly. I hadn't expected henchmen.
