- He slowly climbed the library ladder and wheeled it across the rows of books. The collector wanted the first-printing with the emerald end pages. Very rare indeed.
- It was the last copy of "Frog and Toad are Friends" left in existence. The radical wing of the National Preschool Board was eradicating all evidence of picture books. Prose reigned
- in lieu of the unsophisticated tonality-based poesy of two bipedal anurines obtaining fast-melting ice cream in a humid swamp. "Frog and Toad are More Than Friends" was the sequel.
- But,as usually happens, since there was no more sexual tension between the two of them Frog and Toad, the sequel flunk. The producers
- decided to make a graphic novel about Frog and Toad. Something dark and gritty.
- Frog stared at Toad with blood-shot eyes. "I don't know what happened. She wouldn't stop talking. I wanted her to stop so I grabbed her throat and squeezed and squeezed." "Where's
- the body?" Toad asked. Frog hopped unsteadily to a place behind some tall fronds. "Here," he crossed, unable to look at where she lay. Toad started to laugh. "You say you strangled
- her? I didn't know you had the guts," Toad said. The pond was eerie as Frog stared at Toad with gaunt, wet eyes. "Anything for flies," he said. "Even if it takes murder, I have to
- eat." Frog & Toad sat there silently together on a lilypad for a while. "You know there is an easier way,"Toad said. "You can order flies online. No need to murder anyone again."
- Frog hadn't thought of that. "Thanks, bud," he said. After he went, Toad remembered there was no wifi at their swamp. It'd be a while longer before Frog's killing sprees ended.

So wait, Frog kills and then waits for the flies to settle on the body? Gruesome stuff.
