Strike that. Twice upon a time. Yes the strange attractor vortex of the fates surrounding this story caused it to happen in uncanny congruence two times. In two villages separated

by space and millennia. First upon a time, there lived a Human Princess. Second upon a time there lived an Alien Pope. Their lives were inevitably intertwined

when an MRI showed Gia's baby to be totally green & she chose to abort. "Why, it's a perfectly normal child!" insisted Pope E.T. XX, after being told and arriving by flying saucer.

"You are being awfully racist" he added. "Your baby's skin colour is green, yes, but that doesn't make it any less worthy of life". Gia's memory flashed to that wild night with

Wolfman Jack in the gazebo, where they read The Onion together. A good laugh never hurt anyone, he said. Gia agreed. That was how they stayed sane in this upside down world.

I mean, Trump officiated a wedding between an AR-15 and a Neopet. People attended that. There was even catering! Wolfman Jack and Gia could only shake their heads at such a thing.

That said, the AR-15 and the Neopet were childhood sweethearts (it was almost as if they were manufactured for each other) and Donald Trump even offered to baptise their child.

The two existences were very radical. In fact, due the birth of their child signified the birth of a new species. A beautiful species.

They were almost human, a bit like stars, eyes full of sunshine and voices like dusk. And if their bodies were a little strange, their teeth a bit too sharp- what did it matter?
