This turned out to be a lie, for Fred showed up at the doorstep, completely drunk. He wore one shoe on the wrong foot and kept mumbling about a wrinkly grandma and a moose having a

moosegasm that lasted a full 30 minutes. "Fred, just come inside. You're knackerred again and besides, that's a pig you're thinking of." Fred looked askance at the deer head on the

mantlepiece. The wet glassy eyes and slightly parted deer lips caused Fred to stare like he was caught in a headlight beam. Fred's therapist said his wildlife fetish would take

the form of a masterpiece one day. Except the fact that Fred used to be a deer himself, little did he, or much less his therapist, know. Wet glassy eyes proved to be a theme for

poker night at Fred's house. Barney was drunk again and had lost another shoe.
