The cat and I took our own magical mystery tour that afternoon. The hobbits guided us. Frodo and Sam were joining us! The trees sang to us in Treeish. It sounded so lovely, I was

mystified by the fact that Ents could sing so well. I listened to the two week long song with the cat. She became bored and climbed the tallest Ent. Frodo & Sam meanwhile

decided to make like trees and leave the forest before the Ent King saw them and offered to tell them another story. Sam and Frodo's ears were still numb from the last tale.

When they got out of the forrest, they opened up a dessert place: Sam and Frodo's Fredo. They gave away free samples and hoped never again to repeat that story. It's like

the news of their story had hit an international level of recognition. Even after Sam And Fodo's Fredo dessert place opened up. "The story" was the thing customers asked to hear!

"We were.... friends," Sam said softly. Fodo grinned and ruffled Sam's curly hair. "Best friends," he laughed. Sam looked into the distance, embarassed.

Sam's mind wandered off to the night that Frodo got drunk and brushed and braided the hair on his feet and said they would always be together, but that no-one must know. Ever.

Not like Frodo's uncle that went and shacked up with that Briton up there in that hovel in Olde Londinium behind the fort walls. Sam remembered he wasn't supposed to know that. If
