- Detective Manatee felt uncomfortable in his dinner suit. 'The Marriage of Detective Manatee' was premiering at Sydney Opera House with tenor Lucio Lamantino in the star role. In
- concessions, squirrel on a stick sold out, & no one dared touch spam baby in its dapper fez. Det. Manatee hid from divulging the bride's identity in the film based on his marriage.
- However, as the bride played herself in the 3.5 hour movie, his attempts at concealment were negated. Det. Manatee poked the spam baby with a 10' pole. It giggled, and the fez fell
- on the pez. Det. Manatee then lit a cigar and walked away from Spam baby. Half a second later, he turned around and said, "You know, I do have just, one, final, last minute questio
- n. How did you squeeze into that tiny tin can without pulling a muscle?" Spam baby confided that it didn't have any muscles, but that raised even more questions in Det. Manatee's
- noggin. He called on his fat friend for some answers, but the Walrus was all caught up in a fishing net fending off angry clams. Det. Manatee pulled Spam baby out of the can,
- discovering he was ONLY A TORSO! Det. Manatee nearly collapsed in shock, but quickly recovered and set to work forming a head & limbs from the rectangular block that was Spam Baby.
- Det. Manatee had trouble shaping the spam on accounta his flippers had no thumbs. Speaking of which, try using a gun when you have no thumbs. This is the real reason Det. Manatee
- declined unopened packaged snack foods offered to him on the job. But Manatee was no fool, eyeing the spam hungrily. So he started to dance sensuously, hips swaying, and the spam
- responded by staying inert in its can. The room danced with red and blue lights as squad cars pulled up. Detective Manatee said, "Arrest that impostor."

I enjoyed the Marriage of Det. Manatee. Two thumbs up... and one torso.
