  • Dot, dot, dot. After a bunch of Spanish. Where did that leave us?

    2
  • It left us with only six folds to write a killer english foldingstory. So we needed to get off to a quick start: Hey look, an asteroid with googly eyes is headed straight for

  • this benign lamp shade! Argh! (Ping!) I look down at my Pet Rock and sigh. Only 4 more folds to go, nothing. I pick up the red phone and dial for a crackshot professional writer.

    3
  • He advises me that Pet Rocks are completely out of fashion. I should try to work in a Chia pet so I water my fold and sure enough after a few days it sprouts a number of storylines

    4
  • that routinely end in volatile non-sequiturs or obscure pop culture references, or so off in left-field that it feels like two stories for the price of one. His pet rock & my Chia

  • Head, your Kajagoogoo's in my peanut-butter, no your peanut-butter's in my Punky Brewster....off his mind trailed, leaving scintillas of 80's references arcing into the night sky.

The Acehuche Messi, but friends call Aurelio Piano not know why, but he does not care. this ghost is hanging around the house until you win the European Cup and ... The ellipses didn't translate.

The asteroid with googly eyes bit came from a shoebox diorama I made. It was supposed to complement a book report on "Artemis Fowl", which I got 0 pages into. Upon hearing that the book had fantasy elements, I guessed that it took place in the (sentient, adorable) asteroid belt near an alien planet that was being drilled for resources. My shoebox stood out.

I thought it was from Starfox. There was an asteroid with googly eyes you had to shoot to get to the secret Black Hole level.

Ah yes, that's just a cool coincidence. I love the N64 version as much as anything ever, but I didn't play the original until 2 months ago. All those years without smiling asteroids and their shortcuts in my life...

I only had the original and missed out on the N64 version until WiiWare. And even then I didn't have time to focus on it until it came out on the 3DS. That's a long time to wait. I'm much more of a handheld player.
