"tori is the hottest female on the planet"

  • "tori is the hottest female on the planet" i declared haphazardly to noone in particular, but didn't care since noone but her mattered to me anymore anyway. I built a rocket ship
  • so I could reach the vast space that was my love for her. I asked her if she wanted a ride in my rocket, and she looked at me funnily. "Hmm, sure, i guess" she said
  • . Of couse she thought I was being creepy, but I really did have a rocket all set and ready to go in my backyard. Some have Porsches, I have an Apollo 14. "How 'bout a spin?"
  • She started inspecting my booster stage & hemming & hawing about heat shield friction coefficients. I got her general drift & called her on it, "Are you insinuating my rocket can't
  • generate enough thrust to satisfactorily penetrate the orbit in question?!" She was, and I knew it. She said "The proof is in the puddin, sugar. I heard about that little misfire
  • in the office elevator. You getting off with Mr. Boones? It's unthinkable! Businessmen don't need secretaries except for practice." Her accent was more grating on me than words
  • search puzzles, mainly because her invisline braces had melted when she slept under the sun lamp. How dare she speak of Mr. Boones with such familiarity
  • although it was her desecion, she was disgusted in the fact that her "best friend" had ditched her, she felt useless inside her braces were gone, her life was gone, her phone was ?
  • -blocked. She uppercutted the floating ? Blocks to find her lost phone. The first one had foreign currency, and the second had an odd flower. But then she heard her ringtone in a
  • large green pipe. She dodged a turtle, waited for the man-eating plant to disappear back down the pipe, then she dove in and fell to the bottom; where she found her cell phone.

Ah, a subtle Mario world reference, very clever. :)

Hehe, why thank you! Adding letters to the last word can be a fun twist, so I'd been looking for a (somewhat) suitable opportunity to try it with ending punctuation; I saw maddienova's '?' floating there like one of Mario's blocks and couldn't resist.

Thanks Blasted. I saw the subtle yet obvious mario reference and rolled with it.

Thanks, Slim! Now I can put a legitimate award on my mantle to replace this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYb9XjZglSw ;-)

...well, i'm certainly not the busiest... Unrelated, but: I'm guilty of some serious Praise Oversight here. Great job by theGooB for justifying my wrench-throwing means. For real!
