I have had two deaths in the family and infection

  • I have had two deaths in the family and infection that nearly killed me. I am back and feeling better and ready for some fun on Folding story . Go ahead make my day!
  • I'm glad to hear you are better, Rebbie. I, for one, look forward to your folds. I may be a deluded hag who imagines shirtless avatars are her buddies, but I have my pride. Next,
  • ...yeah...okay...that would be me...Jimbeau...I don't know about these shirtless avatars, and I didn't even know you were ill...I look forward to your folds, Rebbie...they make me
  • laugh like a hyena in heat! And since laughter is the best medicine, I'm happy to report that the "fix" I get from FoldingStory is entirely legal. Rebbie hung his head modestly.
  • Rebbie had begun taking these "hits" from FoldingStory ever since he was a teenager. It started off as a few characters, a couple of words, but soon escalated to all nighters spent
  • doing lines and lines of folds."I'm gonna do another line," Rebbie said as he headed to the back of the dark club, toward the bathroom."I thought you were quitting FoldingStory,"my
  • ass yelled at me. I laughed, spanking myself as I followed Rebbie into the club's swank gilded restroom to snort minced foldedstories on a toilet seat with a rolled up old $1 bill.
  • How many stories were folded that day? Rebbie and I lost track. Hamstak attempted to count them but fell asleep long before the folding stories gang was finished. We didn't drink
  • the Kool-Aid that day. I wish we had. We were the only three left. All of it fell on just the three of us: Rebbie, Hamstak, and me, ambikawolf. We muddled through until we got to
  • The fountains of Gatorade youth. Though we valiant survivors:Rebbie, Hamstak, Futique and Ambikawolf lost loved friends, they would cherish the memories forever. The quest was done

Reminds me of Shackleton's observation that they would often see a shadow of a Futique as they walked away from the sun but when they checked there was still just them three.

Funny you should say that because after my son-in-law died my daughter said she kept seeing his shadow in the corner of the room.

We're all in this together. Nothing is more healing than friendship and laughter. Love to you, Rebbie, and hope things get better for you and your daughter soon. This world can be pretty tough, I know. XXOO

BTW, Rebbie...are you a "he" or a "she"? I referred to you as a "he" in my fold.

Glad to be of service. It really does help to come here and laugh at the funny little worlds we create together. I so look forward to seeing everyone.
