- The two cars were speeding right next to each other now. The drivers looked at each other. Jim fought against the g-forces as he reached for the turbo. That's when it happened.
- A loud, powerful, hissing sound, then a blinding flash. Suddenly it all became very quiet and time passed by slowly. Minutes, hours, maybe days. When he regained consciousness,
- he struggled to recognize where he was. It wasn't until his vision was fully restored that he could clearly see the four white walls surrounding him. The room was bare: no doors,
- no windows, no original Victorian features, no fireplace, no sanded floorboards, no Art Deco style wall lights, no French windows leading to no conservatory, no built-in bar with
- vintage cocktail glasses with funny sayings, no sunken living-room, no avocado shag carpeting, no widow's walk, no observatory, but it DID have
- an artificial jungle in the basement with a scaled down Angkor Wat replica; a log flume ride in the hallway and a garbage disposal large enough to handle small children. I moved in
- really unsophisticated circles because I need to feel superior because mommy diapered me until I was 13. That's why I spend some much time down here.
- My goal is to spend all afternoon folding almost finishef stories like this and see what exquisite corpses can accomplish despite being paper creations. Paper can morph into any
- power ranger, but since they are only paper they can be smashed into pulp by any villain who seeks to stop them. Viola the Vile twiddled her scissory fingernails at them and they
- were shredded into fine strips of paper - a great idea for papier mache! After all, she had her son's birthday coming up and he loved pinatas!

Ever since I went to the Milwaukee Public Museum in 1977 I've wanted my own artificial, air conditioned jungle with ruins of an ancient stone temple. For a time I had a studio apartment. I bought about $200 worth (a huge amount) of artificial ficus branches, palm fronds, ivy etc from a fake plant parts wholesale discount outlet, made fake trees, and bushes, boarded up the windows with cardboard so it was pitch black at night but lit by only two 3 watt flicker bulbs. No temple or air conditioning, though (San Francisco needs no AC) Was it worth it? Yes! Live your dreams and who cares what people think. Here's a really, really, really long url for some photos of the museum. https://images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=AwrTcYLEasdXtUwA0IUunIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTBsZ29xY3ZzBHNlYwNzZWFyY2gEc2xrA2J1dHRvbg--;_ylc=X1MDMTM1MTE5NTY5NARfcgMyBGJjawMzOTZwa20xYnBnYTh0JTI2YiUzRDQlMjZkJTNEVDlJa1BjQnBZRUl6NlFYLkVhN2R2N25VenA2WDJzYzh1azdzOEEtLSUyNnMlM0RjcSUyNmklM0Q1RG01ZFNFbUxJVE9HRUYyVEV4ZARmcgN5aHMtbW96aWxsYS0wMDQEZ3ByaWQDOHp5RWI5ZjZTRy5lUjJwTnVoekwzQQRtdGVzdGlkA251bGwEbl9zdWdnAzAEb3JpZ2luA2ltYWdlcy5zZWFyY2gueWFob28uY29tBHBvcwMwBHBxc3RyAwRwcXN0cmwDBHFzdHJsAzMwBHF1ZXJ5A21pbHdhdWtlZSBwdWJsaWMgbXVzZXVtIGp1bmdsZQR0X3N0bXADMTQ3MjY4NjgyNgR2dGVzdGlkA251bGw-?gprid=8zyEb9f6SG.eR2pNuhzL3A&pvid=ega4IDIwNi40mzSwV5gpHQOFNzAuMgAAAACc6_I_&p=milwaukee+public+museum+jungle&fr=yhs-mozilla-004&fr2=sb-top-images.search.yahoo.com&ei=UTF-8&n=60&x=wrt&hsimp=yhs-004&hspart=mozilla#id=9&iurl=http://www.travelwisconsin.com/uploads/medialibrary/08/08476cf4-96e5-4e83-8d03-718d8d6b5ca2-milwaukee-public-museum.jpg&action=click

Now that I think about it, there are probably dreams one should not live. So don't live your dreams without some careful consideration. And if everyone says, "oh, god, don't do that!" then maybe you should listen to them.

Here's one jungle diorama. I can't find the jungle I liked. The photos on this website make it seem boring. https://www.mpm.edu/plan-visit/exhibitions/permanent-exhibits/third-floor-exhibits/south-middle-america Half of the museum you walk "inside" the exhibits. Here's a photo of the Shiva temple: https://www.flickr.com/photos/brianwhitmarsh/26499496663/
