Why do lighthouse-keepers always have to be lecherous old men with leathery skin, drooling, toothless grinning and seeds all dried up…it must be too much sun exposure.

I’m glad that Denise finally escaped the lighthouse keeper at the end.

Did you mean to say Dee-nice? Churlish and unruly is what that is. Churlish and unruly.

Shout out to K&P.

Would have been better off for Denise if she had escaped the lighthouse keeper at the beginning. But I hear you. We’ve got to take the little victories or we’d have no victories at all.

Well, if she had escaped at the beginning, that would have been the end of the story, and we still would have had nine lines to go.

If faced with that dilemma, Denise would be relegated to being a device to a means. With Denise out of the picture, perhaps the lighthouse-keeper would feel pity and a sick desire to take her body and try and restore her…like Boxing Helena.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Woab. The end of the story? The end of the story? On FoldingStory.com? Surely you jest woman.

She might have escaped only in her mind. Or we could have had a story of cat & mouse with her stuck on the island and the lighthouse keeper looking for her. She might have found the mortal remains of the previous lighthouse “guests”. Enough evidence to get the lighthouse keeper chastised by the State.

^ I’m just saying.
