The snow swirled in thick clumpy flakes.

  • The snow swirled in thick clumpy flakes. He stumped through the snow straining against the heavy load on his sled. At least noone was out to see him. He steered toward the creekbed
  • and was about to trudge up the steep incline of the bridge when he heard a whining silence; the kind that imbeds itself deep in your mind. All the sound had stopped in the frozen
  • moment before Fate unleashed its fury. The whining silence became unbearable. He screamed, but no sound emerged. Panic setting in, he screamed once more. Nothing. He reached for
  • his lapsteel guitar. Those slick slides the old mystic master had taught him couldn't hurt, and Rusty tore into the solo from Ramblin' Man as the chaos monsters whirled about.
  • His unseen audience roared with rapture as Rusty flung his head about. His glorious locks of hair flailed in the air and he straddled his guitar to strike a pose. The air exploded
  • and the hand of God Himself reached down to bring Rusty and his guitar to heaven for His own enjoyment, but Rusty was slapped down by the Hand of Allah, who disapproved of Rusty's
  • copy of Al Farabi's Scrolls for Infidels which had been signed by The Roc himself & kissed by the houris of the Fragrant Gardens of Paradise. The Hands of God & Allah pulled Rusty
  • and ate him, His guts flew all over. also exploding Rocco and tearing his eyes and heart out
  • with absurd forces. The life of Rocco slowly unfolded before his eyes as he saw the last of daylight. The search party eventually found the shredded remains of the fugitive.
  • The gory scene was like something out of a B-grade slasher film. Entrails hung from tree branches like bloody streamers and splintered bones pierced the bloodied earth. Poor Rocco!
