The '54 Chevy appeared to be abandoned, left

  • The '54 Chevy appeared to be abandoned, left with its windows rolled down & not a soul in sight. Barney passed the rusting heap along this lonely stretch of Alabama highway many
  • times a month, but it was just this night that he felt the queasy pull of fate tug his soul. Against his better judgement, he slowed to a stop a hundred yards from the Chevy. Dust
  • settled around his feet like a drowsy cat. The Chevy was diablo red. It's interior black. There was something evil surrounding it. Like a black energy. It almost seemed to whisper.
  • But the Chevy wasn't evil enough. He wanted it to be so evil it would suck in light & happiness from miles around as it drew small animals to be crushed under its roaring wheels.
  • He popped the hood, splayed the body of a virgin onto the engine, placing the primary organs in the location of the humours. Convoluted Latin tore itself from his voice. Any horror
  • was displaced by the fatherly pleasure of teaching his Monster how to drive. After jumpstarting the heart of Frankenstein's car in the usual fashion he showed the monster the gas
  • pedal and how to summon lightening. Tesla coils a-humming, they took off at warp speed towards the end of Vincent Price Blvd. Picking up the Mummy & Wolfman on the way, they
  • headed to Victor Frankenstein's castle. Igor hopped out of the hearse with a can of eggshell white. Victor stared. "Lightning you fool! Not lightening!" The Mummy & Wolfman looked
  • on in horror as Igor tossed away the paint can. It hit Victor Frankenstein in the forehead and knocked him out cold. Igor motioned to the Mummy and Wolfman. "Walk this way..."
  • quietly creeping out the door. "I have a gift card for Ghouls Hardware, we can get a can of blood red paint for our DIY projects rather than CHERRY red", Igor said with a smirk.
