I am looking forward to the end of winter.

  • I am looking forward to the end of winter. :)
  • Winter means snow, and snow means snowmen. When I was a kid, the snowmen would tease me to know end. They would say things like, "Where is your carrot nose, fat boy" and
  • I'd pull out my water pistol and freeze their stupid carrot-noses to their ugly snowball faces. "Who's laughing now, slush-face!", I'd jeer back at the snowmen. Then I'd collect
  • their snow wallets and take their snow dough. Then I felt the Ice. The snowman backhanded me with his branch arm. A drop of blood under my eye. I tasted it. Rage filled me and
  • I lunged at the snowman, toppling his head from the other two snowballs with the coal for buttons. His branches fumbled around to the head. It bought me time. My kerosene stove
  • wouldn't start. Two more snowmen pushed pounded on the door and a snowy arm busted a hole into the window. Things were looking grim until I saw Balzac's lighter.
  • That, when combined with Maxine's super sized bottle of Aqua-net, should do nicely. Starting the spray, I flipped the lighter. Whoosh! "I call it Zombie Snowman soup!" I yelled.
  • And they would have called it that too, if it weren't for their melted faces. The new weapon I had created was making quick work of both the zombies and the snowmen until
  • it broke into a million pieces. "Stupid American piece of crap!", I yelled. Yet it was still my stupid American piece of crap. How was I ever suppose to survive without it now?
  • Funny how dependent one becomes on this technology. I once said I never wanted to be wired in, now I don't want to be unplugged.
