bowl that had been built by 700 enslaved mice, a third of which had died in the process. But before I could taste it, the minced sphinx spoke. "Riddle me this, Batman," it jeered,

"we stand for nothing but remain seated while defecating. Who are we?" Batman seemed unperturbed at the riddle the minced sphinx had thrown at him like a gauntlet. Like a challenge

to his intelligence, the riddle was too much for him. "What are mythical birds that rise from ashes, Alex?" "This isn't Jeopardy, Butt-Man," the sphinx said, and ate him.
