Zimbabwes yoddeling xylophone wacking virtuouso

  • Zimbabwes yoddeling xylophone wacking virtuouso Urs Tikumu showed really quirky performances. New music links kept Jethro inspired. His global folklore events defied common beliefs

  • that he was in fact a talentless wacko; every time he played was an attempt to dispel that myth. He tested the tuning on his xylophone-guitar combo and counted the beat; then he

  • went into his famous rendition of "Baby Elephant's Walk." There was some difficulty with his "xylotar" strumming the chords while tapping the melody. His mom clapped in time.

  • Dad tried to tap his foot and clap in time, but couldn't get his feet or hands on the same beat; this made the "Baby Elephants Walk" sound like they were drunk. Xylotar's are hard

  • when thrown at someone's head, and my father was lying on his back, bleeding. But that's what he gets for destroying my favorite Henry Mancini song, I took the Xylotar and

  • played a quick victory tone. LEVEL UP! Okay, maybe this was rather sociopathic of me. For then it occurred to me that dad wasn't getting back up.

  • I cast a healing spell on my dad and an anti-grounded charm on myself. At level 36, I upgraded my axe to "dark temptation" and went to the Bar sector of the Downtown region. A girl

  • with the eyes of the morning sun sat behind the counter. She asked for my drink, but her eyes had me in a trance and I could not find my tongue to answer her question. She asked

  • "Is this your tongue sir?" pointing at the pink slab of flesh lying on the counter. "Hnghhh, hnnmmg" I put my tongue back in, "That's much better, thanks, I'll have an Americano

  • Decaf with skimmed milk. But I was talking to empty space since the poor server had seen too much horror for the day and died of a heart attack. No coffee today, alas!

Back in the day, when the challenge was writing a fold with alphabetically sorted words... I like this one because it almost reads "normally".

Very cunning.... the sign of a true master!

  3. BlastedHeath Feb 10 2012 @ 22:09

Well now I finally appreciate your rather turgid first sentence. ;-)

  4. SlimsBro Feb 11 2012 @ 01:47

What about "O"? You forgot the "O" bro.

It would be nice if the comments also had a time stamp (like to folds).
