It wasn't the time to stand there. I needed to move, and quickly.
2 -
So I moved to Florida that day. Got myself a nice apartment right on the beach. Then a hurricane
3 -
Jane blew into town. Twisted my head around, crashed my pad, and settled down. I shuttered the windows, ordered Chinese, Jane was a wild dervish, not easy to please

. Now outside Hurricane Jane raged; While I stayed huddled, within my house caged. Then, as the storm was blowing about; There came a flash, and my power went out.
2 -
I shivered in the darkness. As my eyes slowly got accustomed to the gloomy interior of my now unfmiliar living room
2 -
I grew even colder. Every muscle in my body began to shiver, including the ones that open and close one's eyes. This made it very hard to see what I was doing and I
3 -
decided to give up. I gave in to the cold and let my mind go blank. Eventually I didn't even notice the violent shivering anymore--maybe I had stopped. I almost felt warm when
3 -
my mind began to feel drowsy. I closed my eyes as an intense feeling of warmth filled every part of me. That's when I died. Looking back, death wasn't the worst thing to happen to
4 -
me. Rather, it was freezing to death while having to watch adorable little polar foxes snuffle at my frozen-stiff body, then break off my fingers and lick them like popsicles.
4 -
I always wonder why I can't die. Its funny, that eventually the foxes leave, only to return again every night. I feel like an old story. I guess that's why they call me Prometheus
