THE INVISIBLE EYE Once upon a time, in the small village of Hoover, Alabama, a child was born with a very curious condition: little Jenna had an invisible eye inside of her mouth!

Of course, nobody but Jenna knew it she had an invisible eye in her mouth. Mostly she saw what was inside her mouth. Sometimes she got a glance outside when her mouth was open. She

was addicted to Wintergreen Life Savers because with her invisible eye inside her mouth she got to see the whole light show when she ate them. One time her invisible eye got lazy &

accidentally committed several dozen felonies over several years with countless misdemeanors on top of that. She had also violated several mattresses. An invisible eye in her mouth

recorded it all gathering evidence which would be used against her at final judgement, but when she died & was summoned to the heavenly court, & Satan was named her public defender

she knew she was screwed. Satan was a notoriously bad public defender often requiring devil's advocates to get himself out of trouble. That coupled with the evidence, she knew she

had no other choice but to call Detective Manatee. His voice was weary. "Look madame," he said to her, "I have no wish to tangle with Satan, but I think you may have a case."

"Maybe you can find another detective who will work your case for you. I personally have no interest in this one." Detective Manatee reached into his wallet and pulled out a card.

"This one has too many moving parts." Detective Manatee said. He knew as much as he didn't want the case he'd be pulled in. There was a women. Always was. He was a sucker.

Detective Manatee knew there was only one solution. "I quit," He announced. He quit the force, women, smoking,and being part of film noirs. He moved to the woods and lived happily.
