. Momentarily nonplussed, I gathered my wits about me & grinned. They said it couldn't be done, but I started to sing as I tackled that thing that couldn't be done...and I did it.

Word spread I had accomplished the impossible. I was accused of witchcraft. My life was in danger. Fuming at the puritans' superstition, I fled to Haiti to practice the occult free

of persecution. The foolish peasants of my homeland simply didn't understand the wonders that I could perform. The good folk of Haiti were far more enlightened and welcomed me.

As Victorio Frankenstino, my medical practice flourished in Haiti. My experiments creating what the locals called zombies were promising. I felt like I was relearning the obvious.

Then came that fateful day when one of my zombic creations surpassed my capabilities and stole my job. "Me Dr. Frankenstino now," he droned as he pushed me out of my office and set
