"Time chases after us all." These words permeated the air around me like a foul stench as I ran. I could hear the never-ending tick-tock of the unseen clock. Not gonna make it

to the toilets in the building next door. I knew the nearest facilities were on the second floor of the building opposite the courtyard garden of the art gallery and as I tried to
3 -
reach them I ran with all my might before my bladder could betray me. As I came near the building though I saw a huge queue of people patiently waiting to enter the

bathroom, but I couldn't take it. I pushed past everyone waiting in line and opened the door to a man intimately playing with himself. "No wonder why so many people are waiting!" I

played with him also. All of a sudden my phone rang. It was my

mechanic, Brian. I knew because I set his ringtone to shrill screaming. Man, I hated that guy. I picked up the phone, and Brian said

nothing as I said, "Hello?" Shrill screaming blasted from the phone and I held it away from my head. "CONSIGNED TO HELL IS YOUR FORD FOCUS," Brian screamed, "THE DISPOSAL FEES ARE

Astronomically high, plus there is the carbon tax." Al Gore cheered on the other end, but I hung up and blocked the number. They called seventeen times then I shut off my phone.

I opened a drawer of the side table in the atrium and picked up a new burner phone. I called Sen. Al Franken. "How does this affect me, Al Franken? Leave your message after the bee

is done pollinating the flower" and I added a little animation of a happy bee and flower. Senator Franken burst through the wall and promised me a better school system. I had won.

Back in 1979 or 1980 when he was a featured cast member on SNL Franken did an editorial about what the 1980s should be called. The 1970s we widely called The Me Decade and Franken came out arguing that the 1980s should be called The Al Franken Decade. Everybody was supposed to do everything with Al Franken in mind. It was a really funny bit.
